The WorldWide Retail Exchange (WWRE®), the premier business-to-business
exchange for retailers, manufacturers and suppliers, announced
today three new additions to its global management team: Sally
Herbert, Global Director of Member Relations and Engagement; Nick
Parnaby, Global Director of Member Development and Marketing;
and Jerome Kuehn, General Manager, Europe. Together with WWRE’s
Asia Pacific team, these individuals will coordinate global growth
in member adoption.
As Global Director of Member Relations and Engagement, Sally
Herbert will lead the WWRE’s member engagement group to
further enhance member adoption and member relations and serve
as the primary liaison for all members. She will also ensure
the Exchange is providing a consistent and positive experience
to members from initial membership throughout adoption, account
management, implementation and operations.
Most recently, Sally was a Director of Partner Programs for
the WWRE where she instituted operational and process improvements
to create various member tools for sales forecasting, feedback,
internal and external reporting and collaboration. Sally joined
the Exchange in 2001, bringing valuable skill sets in collaboration,
customer service, B2B e-commerce, business development and strategic
operational experience after serving in various roles at the
Internet Capital Group (ICGE), IBM and MCI Worldcom.
Nick Parnaby assumes the position of Global Director of Member
Development and Marketing. He joined the Exchange in 2001 to
lead its global supplier and manufacturer participation and
member initiatives. Making significant inroads into this area,
Nick has now also assumed responsibilities for the Exchange’s
company-wide marketing activities and the development of WWRE
member solutions through a unique eLearning function known as
the WWRE® University.
Prior to joining the WWRE, Nick worked with various global
organizations including CSC Consulting, a division of Computer
Sciences Corporation, Lucas Engineering & Systems and Lavigna
International, establishing his expertise in strategic sourcing,
business consulting and systems integration and B2B exchange
strategy.
Jerome Kuehn has taken on the role as the Global Director,
Europe, to lead the WWRE’s European team and support the
Exchange’s growing membership and operations in Europe.
Prior to this position, he served as a Partner Program Director
responsible for the Exchange’s account management in Europe.
Before joining the WWRE, Jerome was the CEO of Trade-Match.com,
where he was responsible for the design and sales development
of the first Internet based European B2B auction tool. He has
also served as European sales manager for Valeo a leading European
automotive manufacturer; as a product director for Ford Motor
Company where he was responsible for setting up a mini-stores
network for servicing and spare-parts resale; and as commercial
advisor to the Société Marseillaise de Crédit
bank in Spain with a specific focus on implementing textile
brands in that market.
“These new management team additions will further assist
us in meeting our global operational goals: driving member adoption
and providing the highest-level of service to our members,”
said Colin Dyer, CEO of the WWRE. “Sally, Nick and Jerome
are primed to help us do just that, continuing to contribute
their industry knowledge, technology leadership and solid member
relationships to the success of the Exchange."
