The efforts of the WWRE have been paying off for its members
for quite some time, and that success is now winning recognition
from industry experts. In the past month, the company has
been the recipient of two distinguished mentions.
First,
the September 10 special Business to Business issue of Forbes
cited the WorldWide Retail Exchange as a Forbes Best of
the Web 2001 Honoree in the retailing category. The entire
list of honorees can be viewed here.
The
WWRE has also been named a 2001 CIO-100 honoree and placed
on CIO magazine's "CIO-100" list, which
recognizes organizations around the world that excel in
positive business performance through innovative practices
and products. This year the list of honored companies include
those that have "demonstrated innovation to improve
products, services, and relationships with partners and
clients." A complete list of honorees can be found.
Kudos to Best Buy and IBM, who also received the honor.
