The WWRE was founded to help retailers and suppliers simplify, rationalize, and automate the supply chain, thereby eliminating inefficiencies.

The WWRE's WorldSYNC(tm) solution suite is comprised of offerings that focus on the collaborative supply chain, specifically Data Synchronization. The Data Exchange (DX) solution is a key part of GDS and provides retailers and suppliers with a single point of entry into to the global network, as well as connection to WWRE's direct member network. DX is a data pool service which includes a complete content management system and sync engine based on EAN.UCC standards. Users are enabled with the power to send and receive quality, secure item data.

The WorldSYNC Partner Program is a network comprised of best-of-breed third party providers that offer products and services focused in the area of data sync and the Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN). Together with DX, these partners comprise an End-to-End Data Sync blueprint, ready to be implemented.

They have formalized a relationship with the WWRE and in doing so, have made a commitment to enhance their offerings in greater alignment with the WWRE solution suite. Retailers and suppliers that leverage WWRE's WorldSYNC solution suite, which includes the DX data pool service, can take advantage of the following benefits:

• Ready-to-implement WorldSYNC partner solutions are enabled to be "DX compatible" via connectors/adapters
• Vendor evaluations/selections are more efficient when they include a WorldSYNC partner on the shortlist
• Customers can quickly start synchronizing data with trading partners by combining DX and WorldSYNC partner solutions
• Data Synch and GDS becomes easy to understand with clear and aligned messaging from the WWRE and its partners
